I know the site has been down for a long time. I had issues with PHP, and just been too busy to fix it. But the site is back up and running again. Mean while the network has been going steady. We have shrank a bit due to a group of individuals that decided to leave.Both servers are running steadily, but right now irc.acidchat.net is only pointing to the hub. The reason being that I have been concerned about network stability and wanting to make sure we don't have netsplits. It has not been a huge issue, but just so you are aware of it. I hope to continue to spend time and maintain this network. Even with the decreased size, and the rocky road over the last few months, I have no intentions of stopping the network. Even if a few, but high quality, people remain, it all makes it worth it. |

We have now added a new section to the website. You can now check out the FAQ for questions regarding the AcidChat network. It has other useful information like the modes which are relevant to our network. So go check it out and maybe learn something...knowlage is power after all. |

SSL access on all servers now |

We are pleased to announce that all AcidChat servers are capable of SSL access. If you wish to connect to one of our servers all you need to do is tell your client to use SSL (you may have to also say accept insecure, or self signed certificates). And change your port to use 6697. Then when ever you connect to the server you will be encrypted and secure. |
