I am currently in the process of moving the acidchat hub to a new server. IRC services have already been moved, and am currently working on the website. We will be going under a new name, as we are not only changing servers, but merging with the big bud den to produce a new site all together. This site will include forums, and more frequently updated content, as well as more ways for users to engage and communicate. I am not 100% decided on a name, but the new site/irc services will most likely be called "SpicyLemons". Links via the den will be forwarded to this new site. And connecting to the IRC network via the acidchat domain will also forward to the new server for some time. But if you want, you can go ahead and update your IRC network to point to: irc.spicylemons.net This domain is functional, and will connect you to the same IRC network you have come to love. Feel free to jump on and send me ( jent ) a msg if you have any questions, or any comments about what would make our network/website/service more useful to you. I look forward to helping our network of over 6 years continue to grow and evolve. |

We are pleased to announce that all AcidChat servers are capable of SSL access. If you wish to connect to one of our servers all you need to do is tell your client to use SSL (you may have to also say accept insecure, or self signed certificates). And change your port to use 6697. Then when ever you connect to the server you will be encrypted and secure. |
